Fowl Weather

Wildlife Stories
The storms and cold weather that rolled through the last few days have not deterred the water birds from visiting our little place here in the north.
Fowl Feathered Friends
We are getting new arrivals every day!
Geese, ducks, loons, a heron and even the pelicans have arrived. I am blaming the pelicans for the poor fishing, although I suspect it has more do do with my choice of lures.
The geese normally move on after a week. The pelicans tend to disappear by the end of June.
Hopefully, the ducks and loons are all nesting nearby and we will see the young ones working their way along the shore in the coming weeks.
